summer fair

During the last week of July, at Ischia di Castro, a nice small town near Tuscany, there is the Summer Fair. For three days people borrow the old "cantina" (the place where they keep the wine barrels) along the tiny medieval streets, to the crafters, artists, people that cook or sell tipical food. At the evening there is a parade with ladies in antique gowns and gentlemen that seems to came right from some pictures of the Renassaince. Charming!
So, I am hoarding my crafts for that event: old jeans bags, pincushions (or scissor's fobs) and two English little ladies a friend gave it to me. I don't know who they are, they came in a printed fabric I cut, stuffed and sew. They don't have a name yet, so I accept suggestions!

Oh! You must be looking forward to this summer fair. It sounds lovely, being in a fair in Tuscany. Ooo, the sound of Tuscany just makes me fantasise about all the wonderful warmth and niceness of quaint Italian villages. Hmm. Tell us how your preparations are going, I hope?
