I love legends and mythology, as much as I love to have long walks on the beach from October to May. Near home, I found both: A peaceful walk on late October and the legend of Aeneas who, according to Virgilio's first books of the Aeneid, made landfall somewhere on this beach, and became the progenitor of the Roman people...

My entry for the week's theme "cityscapes". This is Rome as you can see it from the Gianicolo a roman hill, ( it's not among the seven hills where Rome was built!) From this place, there is one of the most beautiful views of Rome, and while walking, I spotted a young tourist that took her shoes off to take a break, maybe of a long walk around the city.

Well, here I am again! Ok, I will try to explain the thing: There is an educational project "Flat Stanley Project" created by Dale Hubert, a Canadian teacher, as a kind o penpal activity. Inspired by that, Lisa Vollrath ideated a paper Flat self Doll swap. When I turned my blog into English, (apologizing for all the lapses and some nonsense that maybe I write!)lol, I met a lot of interesting people, and a dear friend: Wendy, of "Craft Dinner". Well, we both are readers of Lisa's blog, so when Wendy saw the paper Flat self Doll, she told me it could be fun to do our Flat selves and make a swap. I say: Yes! And here is Flat Juana ready to leave Italy for Ontario!
She is travelling with a paper bag journal I made following the tutorial via Jessica of "Kids napping, I'm scrapping". Arrivederci!
