corner view, "music"

This week theme at "corner view" it's "music". I love bands and fanfares, maybe because they bring me happy memories of my childhood in South America where bands play in every event, (even funerals!). Here in Italy are a tradition during the festivities of the patron saint or in events like the Rome Marathon, as in the two first pics, and the last one, a trombone who reflects the tower of the city where I live, during the festivities of the patron saint last March.

You grew up in South Africa? How worldly you are. Would love to sit with you for coffee and to hear of your worldly travels.

I love local festivals and they are made all the more enjoyable by the presence of a band.

Don't know why I wrote South Africa.....sorry about that. My dear old dad just got back from a wine trip through Argentina; he LOVED it and his photos are amazing. I wish I would have been invited to go. ;(

Would love to hear more of the 70's traveling!
