Codognotto

Passeggiare per Roma non sempre è sinonimo di caos, traffico, e orde di turisti e pellegrini.  A volte basta girare l'angolo di un vicolo, per immergesi in un'altra dimensione. Può capitare di trovarsi davanti una bottega stracolma di sculture di legno, che sembrano aver sfrattato il suo occupante, che seduto sul uscio guarda sornione i passanti: E' il maestro Ferdinando Codognotto, uno scultore conosciuto a livello internazionale. Nelle sue mani, il legno prende mille forme senza perdere la sua natura, i suoi alberi, leoni, e fiori sono simili a giocatoli giganteschi, trasmettono veramente la gioia con la quale sono stati creati.

 Walking in Rome doesn't mean allways chaos, traffic and "horde" of tourists and pilgrims; sometimes, just turning in one of the side tiny streets you'll be launched in another dimension.  It could happen to see a shop full of wood sculptures, so full that seems to have evicted its owner wich is sitting at the threshold looking  at the passerby with amusement.  He is the maestro Ferdinando Codognotto, an international known artist. He makes enormous wood figures like trees, lions and flowers.  They seem big toys and just looking at them one can feel the joy with wich they were created.
