This is such a cute idea! My mom has a ton of thrifted jeans that she was using to make purses. She stopped making the purses and now has tons of leftover denim. We must try this. I'm not good at the sewing machine yet, a little intimadated by it, but should give it a try.

Hi Lisa, thanks for join! Do you know that I discovered most crafters are intimidate by the sewing machine? I am one, though I love mine, but I prefer to sew by hand. Anyway, making this blankets is easy, they are just 15cm x 15, the measure of the grid I have! Now I don't even baste them!
What can I do with an old jeans? A blanket for my cat!
